细节题主要考察定位和理解两个方面，而在考察难度设置上，如果定位非常简单，则极有可能定位到长难句，那么如何在有限的时间内理清句子结构找到答案，则会涉及到更为基础层面的知识考察。
细节题解题第一步根据题文同序原则模糊定位解题段落范围，运用题干关键词准确定位。在细节题的解题思路中提到如果定位长难句可选择选项关键词代入原文排除。
句中出现的双破折号里的内容可以直接划掉，因为双破折号里的内容为插入语，不会拿来命题。而剩余的部分仍然很长，需要进一步划分句子结构。找句子主干从谓语动词入手，找到谓语动词之后，谓语后为句子宾语。
